MULTI-DIRECTIONAL FORM COMBINING EXERCISE Facing West, do the Jeng Hao of form 1, then: Face West for the rest of form 1 Move to face East for form 2 Move to face South for form 3 Move to face North for form 4 Move to face West to finish form 5 Combine the five forms using either a hop-and-spin, or using different footwork with the movements of the form. The desired result of the exercise is to do most of each form facing the prescribed directions. It is usually around moves 11 to 14 that one can find a way to step across to the new bases to complete the next form. See an instructor for an example.
